“Jestures” e’ il nuovo disco degli Atmosphere

Anticipato da “Really”, “Velour” e “XXX”, “Jestures” è il nuovo disco degli Atmosphere, fuori il prossimo 19 settembre per Rhymesayers Entertainment. Slug e Ant proseguono inarrestabili lungo un cammino costellato di uscite: we were having fun, we didn’t want to stop – dice il primo. That’s how we ended up chasing this idea of making 26 songs, all the way from A to Z. Aggiunge il secondo: I was able to throw the kitchen sink at it more than I probably ever did, seriously every kind of style or anything I wanted. It was super fun to be able to do any kind of style of music. “Jestures”, quindicesimo titolo in carriera per il duo, sfata appunto il mito secondo cui la creatività venga meno col trascorrere del tempo; gli Atmosphere sembrano rispondere a questo pregiudizio con un progetto corposo, ordinato alfabeticamente e ricco di spunti tematici. Vi prendono parte Evidence, Kurious, il trio formato da Musab, Muja Messiah e Mike The Martyr (chiaramente in “Mash”), Haphduzn, Yoni Wolf e ZooDeVille. Il gruppo sarà altresì impegnato in un fitto tour durante tutto agosto, chiudendo le date in concomitanza alla pubblicazione dell’album al Red Rocks Amphitheatre di Morrison, con ospiti speciali Hieroglyphics, Dilated Peoples, Living Legends, Immortal Technique, Cunninlynguists e DeejayBird.
